A survey of recent visitors revealed awareness and significant appreciation for the unprecedented tourism product development Montgomery, Alabama has enjoyed over the last 10 years. However, that same research revealed that Montgomery was often described by potential visitors as a sleepy, historic southern city. Quite simply, potential visitors had a completely different opinion of Montgomery than recent visitors. Armed with these findings, Stamp worked with the Montgomery CVB to execute a new campaign to communicate today’s Montgomery. One with a revitalized downtown entertainment district and ever expanding east side of town both with new hotels and an eclectic mix of unique local shops and restaurants that appeal to visitors seeking a traditional, yet hip experience.
