Stephen’s creative journey began (like all the great origin stories) in the garage. He was a singer/songwriter/guitar player in several bands for nearly 12 years and developed an interest in various creative mediums while marketing his bands. Currently he specializes in the visual arts (photography and filmmaking), but has worked in almost every outlet from head engineer at a recording studio, graphic artist at a newspaper and several magazines, and videographer/producer for a cable advertising company. His proudest accomplishments (besides his wonderful family) include the release of several EPs and 2 full length records, writing and directing a feature length film titled “Songs About Your Girlfriend” and starting the 365 Days project.

More About Stephen
Stories through moving and non-moving pictures.
Back in the day I was this close to being a rock star. But at least I can say that I personally know and have played music with two Grammy Award winners.
My travel essential:
Usually my DSLR camera with a 16-35mm lens and a 50mm lens. Sometimes it will also include a guitar or a ukulele when we have room for it.
How I like to make my mark:
Preferably loud wit lots of guitars.
In general, I’m a big fan of hard driving power/punk pop by such bands, but probably my all time favorite artist would be Ben Folds. He’s this generation’s Randy Newman.
Favorite movie quote:
“This isn’t ‘Nam, this is bowling. There are rules”
– Walter Sobchak, The Big Lebowski
Best advice received:
“If you want to do something throw your hate over the fence so you have to go get it.”
Favorite travel/vacation experience:
In 2008, Tammi and I renewed our vows (we had been married for 15 years at that point) and then took a cruise to Mexico. My fondest memories were from our trip were: 1) Our trip to Chichen Itza, where we got to see the Mayan ruins; and 2) Swimming with the Dolphins. During the Dolphin excursion, Tammi told me that we were gonna have another child. That turned out to be my youngest daughter Zoe.
New ideas, technology, lighting.
Trashy TV addiction:
Really not a fan of reality TV, I’m more a fan of smart scripted shows such as Dexter, The Office, Chuck, That 70s Show.
Honk if you love:
Why I love the business:
I love being able to take an idea and not just meet but exceed the expectations of the client/myself.
I want to Stamp out:
Racism or just hatred period.
“If I seem a little strange, that’s because I am.”
My spare time is spent:
Currently writing and recording music.
